Has it been a week already???

oh well, I guess it is time for an update again. Let's see. So much has happened since I worked hurricane Rita.

There has been a super-cool job posted on the board here at work and I am keeping my sights on it! I think I might have a good chance at it, but I suppose it depends on what my competition looks like. I've been told two others have applied and I am still the best candidate, but that was as of Thursday morning. Hadn't really heard much more about it. Don't know if that is because hiring manager hasn't looked, or isn't telling. :>(

Oh well, I can't control aspects of my destiny.

So the house (old and new!) are coming along. We drove out there this weekend and they have sheet rock up! Yeah. We also spent all weekend packing and moving stuff to storage. Shew, what a relief to getting clutter out of my house and into storage. My house is already looking bigger as I type. Fabulous! I'm getting excited about both. At first I dreaded putting my old house on the market but I think it is time for a change. I will miss it. It was our first home. We bought our baby home to that house. So it will always have a special place in my heart. I hope the new owner takes better care of it than we did, but I know in my heart it is time to move while the moving is good.
